Xiaomi intends to formally enter into both the UK and Ireland

While Xiaomi may not necessarily be a trademark or a company known to people in the West, Asia is a big company thanks to a variety of affordable smartphones. However, it seems that Xiaomi will expand officially to the West, announcing plans to officially enter the UK and Ireland in November.

This is a big step because the UK market is one of the markets that Xiaomi has not formally entered, although it remains to be seen how customers will respond to the company's Chinese products in this country. Xiaomi previously had access to Spain, France and Italy officially, so this is not the first time Xiaomi has launched its products in the West.

Xiaomi has long talked about plans to storm the US market but claims it is not yet ready, although it announced earlier this year that it still has plans to do so. The US market will be difficult, especially given how other Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE are seen in the country. Both companies have been accused of spying on behalf of the Chinese government to the point that they have been prevented from providing telecommunications infrastructure in other countries.
